POLITICAL CORRUPTION THAT SHAMED INDIA
The former UPA-2 reign ended pegging up a lot of allegations and corruptions on their overhead. Some of the corruptions in their reign has rocketed up india with lot of critics in and around the world, not only that party with 120 years of experience has not been able to cope up with these corruptions and have lost faith in the minds of Indian citizens. Versatile economist Dr.manmohan singh under his leadership couldn't bag good name and fame with his administrative strategies, instead of that he has been deadly spotted as €robo€ by several political brands prevailing around the nation. Being a good economist he couldn't control the declining trend of rupee over dollar which has deprived Indian financial status. It was one of the worst political track record of Indian National Congress since its inception from 1885.
The first and foremost political corruption that distressed Indian nation was Augusta corruption it is also best known as choppergate which deeply involved many politicians and defence officers who have been accused by taking bribe to clear a contract in order to supply 12 Augusta westland helicaptors AW101 to India. India purchased 1 AW 101 helicaptors from Augusta westland in the year 2010, this Rs.3600 crore corruption came into spotlight with the arrest of FInmeccania CEO orasi by Italian authorities. Finmeccania is the sister concern of the Augusta westland company, the then defence minister A.K.Anthony has ordered for a CBI probe immediately after the massacre take place, the investigation revealed that three of the individuals related to the Indian air chief tyagi were actively involved in this giant corruption and they come to know that by violating and bending the rules they have cheated and participated in criminal conspiracy of 3600 crores corruption. CBI has charged a FIR against the Indian Air Chief and the 12 other members for intentionaly participating in this accuse. Tyagi was the first Indian air chief to be named in corruption by the CBI authorities,CBI has also charged a FIR against the brother of union minister satish bagrodia and pratap aggarwal the mananging director of IDS infotech. According to reuters it is one of the series of the scandals in defence dealmaking in India.
Another giant corruption that shaked Indian economy is coal allocation corruption under the headship of Dr.Manmohan singh, it was dubbed by media as the coalgate which allegedly allocated block of coal mines to Private and Public sector companies by the then prime minister. The comptroller and auditor general accused the government for allocating coal blocks in an haphazard manner during the tenure 2004-09 which has incurred a loss of 1.86 lakh crores to Indian economy. Intial loss was recored at the rate of 10 lakh crores, but CAG has revised it to 1.86 lakh crores after minimizing the PSU from their report, BJP has lodged a complaint against this corruption and demanded Dr.manmohan singh for immediate resignation. This scandal has created a lot of furore both inside and outside the parliament because of it's magnitude in the corruption, this was got murkier when 43 files containing the crucial information how the coal blocks were allocated to private firms were missing. Manmohan singh was the incharge of the coal ministry during the 2006 and 2009, some of the files were missing during this tenure regarding allocation of coal blocks.
Another major corruption that looted Indian economy was railgate, The CBI arrested the Railway minister pawan kumar bansal's nephew singhla for allegedly accepting bribe of 90 lakhs from the narayan rao manjunath and pradeep on behalf of Mahesh kumar, a member of Indian railway board for exchanging the higher rank position in the railway community. CBI suspecting the involvement of Bansal's in this corruption has started scrutanising the recruitments, promotions, transfers that were taken place during the reign of Pawan kumar. The congress high command feeling the heat of the corruption the president Sonia Gandhi said the party couldnot bare anybody who are in the core of corruption, following the statement of Sonia Gandhi Bansal has stepped down from his portfolio his nephew singhla and narayan rao were arrested with their deep involvement in the scandal.

Another major financial corruption that took place in India was 2Gcorruption which involved government officials undercharging to various telecom companies to allocate the 2G distribution for cellphone subscriptions, the telephone bandwidth auction was undervalued and was offered to preferred few on €first come first serve instead of transparent auction system. CBI has investigated that 122122 licenses were allocated during the tenure of IT and Communications minister A.K.Raja who was major accused in this case, apart from raja the daughter of the then tamil nadu C.M Kanimoli and late pramod mahajan were actively involved in this case. The taj corridor case was also one of the corruption taken place in India, Bellary mining corruption led by G.karunakara reddy and G.Janardhan reddy etc.
