Tinnitus, also called ringing ears, is a condition wherein a person hears a ringing, buzzing, hissing, whistling or whooshing sound coming from inside his or her ears instead of being from an outside source.

Magnesium, which is said to inhibit glutamate, protects the inner ear nerves.
Magnesium deficiency should then be treated by countering it through supplements.
Lipoflavonoid is known to improve circulation in the inner ear, as determined by a study.
It is recommended by doctors in treating tinnitus.
Lipoflavonoid contains many vitamins and nutrients such as: Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and bioflavonoids.
Although these vitamins may help in decreasing the suffering from tinnitus, it is advised that people ask a professional on proper dosages of these nutrients so as to avoid any risks or side effects that can be gotten from over dosage.
