I?m a little bit of a perfectionist I?m afraid.

I talk up front with [the actors] and I tell them that this is very hard and very tough.

I?m always impressed, especially on Poseidon, that everybody also really wanted to do it themselves. I think they are very proud now when they see the film that you can see in every single scene, basically you can see it?s really them doing it. It?s not some clever thing with stunt guys and now a close up again of the actor.?

Wolfgang Petersen and Ender?s Game: Will Petersen be the director to finally bring Ender?s Game to the big screen? Petersen said, ?I hope so. At the moment it?s very much in my head again. We?re getting the script in a few weeks and if everything goes fine and that script goes in the right direction, it could indeed be my next one.?

Ender?s Game could possibly be the next big kid-empowerment film franchise. ?It could be and also it could be a great 3-D version of Ender?s with all that fighting in the battle stations. I think Ender?s was a little bit of an inspiration for Harry Potter,? said Petersen.

On World?s Finest aka Batman vs. Superman: Petersen believes the film is still a possibility.

?That is,? explained Petersen, ?since now Warner Bros is establishing Superman again probably. The question I heard last time is, ?Well I love the concept very much.? It might happen, but it might also happen when I?m 85. Who knows because they first have to get their Superman going.?
