- 1). For used records go online first as this may be the easiest place to find them. Sites like GEMM.com, can help direct you to online auctions. For new vinyl, you may want to look into places like Amazon, Borders, or Barnes and Nobles. These sites are usually good with helping you find what you need and they may be able to order something.
- 2). You next bet, is to go and visit your local thrift stores. Places like Good Will, Salvation Army, or secondhand stores have many bins and boxes stacked with old vinyl records. The only downside with this, is that the disks may be in bad shape or might not even work. Test them first!!
- 3). Next you should try used music stores. These types of stores make a effort to organize the musical genres and selections but they are not the best.
- 4). Also, try your luck at yard sales. Look for old, beat down, boxes that are too heavy to carry or look unattractive. You may find a collection spilling out of the box all for a fairly cheap price.
