Le Meridien St Julians Hotel and Spa is one of the nicest 5 star Malta hotels you can find in Balluta Bay.
I have been there a few times and I want to reveal a few things about this beautiful hotel.
I'll try to make this article as objective and informative as possible, though.
First of all, the location is very nice.
Fairly close to the island's capital , Valletta, Balluta Bay is a beautiful place, with romantic restaurants above the water, beautiful gardens (the Independence Gardens), nice scenery and a long promenade that lets you explore almost the entire bay on foot.
This luxury 5 star Malta hotel has almost every facility a visitor could desire: oCharge your energies at the ultra modern Lotus Fitness center, found on level 2 of the complex, where you can choose programs like personal training or fun aerobics classes.
oRelax and unwind at the luxury spa, the Lotus Spa Myoka.
"Myoka" means "mysterious flower" in Japanese, and a "Myoka Spa" is founded on the belief that our beauty is like a flower that needs to be discovered.
oOn the 9th floor you can find the executive lounge, which is only available for people who book an Executive Room or Suite.
Daily newspapers, free drinks, free internet connection, and free private breakfasts are only a few of the features.
oIf you are in Balluta Bay on business, you can use le Meridien St Julians' business center to hold conferences, business meetings and do whatever you need to do.
o The Penguin Club is where you can take your kids and watch them have fun all day long.
It's on the ground floor, and it's for kids between 2 and 12 years old.
You can even organize parties for your kids at the Penguin Club.
oThere are two swimming pools: the Lotus Indoor pool and the "La Bajja" Outdoor pool.
oTwo parkings: underground and outdoor.
It's free to park in any one of them if you are a guest at the hotel.
I had no parking problems whatsoever during my stay.

Le Meridien St Julians Hotel and Spa is partnered with The Royal Malta Golf Club - need I say more? Food and drinks - there are 3 places you can go: there is a restaurant on the roof (La BajjaRestaurant), the KuDeTa Lounge Bar (the smoking area is perfectly separated from the main no-smoking zone) and last but not least, the main restaurant of the hotel, the Scirocco Restaurant.
