How to Change From Synthetic Oil to Regular Oil

    • 1). Remove the drain plug and drain the old oil from your vehicle.

    • 2). Replace the drain plug with a magnetic drain plug if you don't already use one.

    • 3). Replace the oil filter with the vehicle manufacturer's product or an after-market product suited to your automobile's engine.

    • 4). Pour regular oil into the engine until it reaches the appropriate level. Be sure the regular oil is the appropriate weight for your engine.

    • 5). Start the vehicle and allow the engine to run for a minute, then turn off the engine and check the oil level again. Add oil as needed.
