How to Restore Msconfig in Windows XP

    • 1). Click the "Start" button on the lower-left side of the screen. Right-click "My Computer" and select "Properties".

    • 2). Click the "Advanced" tab from the Properties window. Click "Environment Variables".

    • 3). Highlight the "Path" variable in the "System Variables" box.

    • 4). Select the "Edit" option. Add the "c:\WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr\binaries" command to the end of the text in the "Variable Value" box.
