Writing articles and posting them to directories is not enough.
In order to be successful in article marketing you have to get your articles syndicated.
This means that other website owners and blogs pick up your article and post it to their websites, along with your author resource box.
For true syndication you must have your article picked up by several websites, blogs, or newsletters.
When this happens your articles will flood the internet and the search engines, and your name will begin to be known as an expert in your field, gain website traffic, and build bigger lists.
Getting your articles syndicated widely is a combination of luck and mastery.
The mastery begins with your ability to grab a browser's attention with a winning headline, and follow up with an informative, interesting and creative article.
The luck lies in being able to get your articles read above all the others being posted daily in your topic.
Your chances in this area are increased by posting five to ten articles each day.
You can increase your chances of syndication by allowing RSS feeds from your articles, which is allowed by some article directories and nearly all blogs.
You can even include RSS feeds from an ezine or your website.
List your RSS feeds in those directories and allow bloggers and website owners to find you that way as well.
You will further increase your chances of widespread syndication when you make sure your articles are posted on other blogs and websites that also offer RSS feeds.
