- 1). Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of water and 1 cup of white vinegar.
- 2). Swish your mop into the bucket and wring out the mop so it is just damp. Too much moisture can damage wood floors.
- 3). Wipe the mop over the Pledge residue. Rinse the mop as needed, wring it out well and continue until all traces of the Pledge are removed from the wood floor. Let the floor air dry.
- 4). Wipe your hand over the floor. Clean again with fresh vinegar solution if any slippery residue remains.
