Celebrate a New Kind of Television with Satellite Television

In the past couple of years certain networks and channels have stood out and made a change in their style based on the way the public watches television. For example, both the increase in reality television and more trendy-oriented (whether it be food or actually clothing) the television has opened an entirely new type of show to watch. Instead of your regular entertainment from a famous movie star you can see regular people, trying to make it just as you are in the world. Watching these shows makes you realize how much talent there can be in a normal, everyday looking person. With satellite television you can have access to these more realistic shows.

Bravo is a channel that has emerged in the past couple of years as one of the more entertaining and realistic networks. They've taken advantage of the reality-like game show where real people are competing for a chance to change their life, utilizing their own personal skills. One of those examples is Top Chef. This show is the chance of a lifetime for an up and coming chef who wants to both develop their skills and improve old tricks. The audience has been held captivated as they watch both the chefs and the judges battle it out all season. This show is a learning experience for its viewers because it both demonstrates new and innovative ways to prepare food while also showing how you judge a good plate of food from another. Unfortunately the audience at home can't try all the yummy dishes, but the judges do a great job of describing, critiquing and applauding different dishes. The best parties you can take home these cooking suggestions with you. After watching a couple of seasons, you realize that the best and most appreciated food on the show is the simple recipe done absolutely perfectly. With a couple of tips and a cupboard full of your favorite ingredients, you too can be a top chef.

Another great show on Bravo is Project Runway. Again, the concept is quite simple: everyday designed competing for the chance of a lifetime: to display a collection in New York's Bryant Park. The designers who are on the show are as eclectic as the selection of judges. Some are hometown designers who've been stitching away and are looking for a new chance. Others are the fresh and aspiring new faces of fashion that have recently graduated from the most acclaimed schools of design. The best part of the show is that your background in design sometimes does little for how far you go in the program. Just like a professional designer, you have a deadline and the stress of making it work on the runway. Some designers have the best sketches but when it comes to putting it together something's always off. The most interesting part of the show is watching the designers develop and improve.

Whatever shows interest you the most: food or fashion, you need to look no further than Bravo to be inspired. With satellite television you can watch your favorite reality shows in the best quality with the best provider in entertainment.
