- 1). Navigate to http://280slides.com, and click on the "Try It Now, Free!" box.
- 2). Click "Create a New Presentation."
- 3). Select a background that will complement your slide show without overwhelming it. For a business presentation, plain white or another solid color are recommended.
- 4). Follow the prompts in the boxes (for example, "Double click to add title") title your first slide.
- 5). Select "New" from the upper-left corner to add a new slide to your presentation.
- 6). Add text and images as appropriate. To add an image on 280slides.com, you must be registered. As of July 2010, it is free to register on 280slides.com; click on "Log In" to register a new account. Click on "Pictures" in the control bar at the top, and select "upload" to find a picture on your computer.
- 7). Click "Present" in the upper-right corner to enter presentation mode, and use the arrow keys to scroll through slides. Press "Esc" on your keyboard to return to the editor mode.
- 8). Save your presentation (this function requires you to register as well). If you will need to open this presentation on another computer, save in the common PowerPoint Presentation format, which may be listed as ".PPT." Visit 280slides.com from any computer with an Internet connection and open your presentation on the website.
- 1). Create an account on Flickr and log in.
- 2). Choose "You" from the menu bar at the top of the site and click "Upload." Click the "Choose Photos and Videos" link, and find photos on your computer that you want to display.
- 3). Return to your Flickr "Home."
- 4). Click "Slideshow" in the upper-right corner of your Flickr Home to begin your slide show.
- 5). Use the "Organize and Create" option at the top of the menu bar to arrange your photos into several "batches." Choose the batch from your Flickr Home, and click "Slideshow" in the upper right, to view any of these as an individual slide show.
