Many people consider the option of commuting to work using a push bike especially given the problems of rising costs and horrendous traffic.
You can save costs, time and stress levels! A fantastic concept that I have come across is to convert your ordinary pedal bike into an electric 50mph speed machine which has even more advantages than commuting on an ordinary pedal bike.
1.
Arrive Fresh and Ready to Start Work- If you've ever cycled your way to work, or indeed to anywhere, you'll know that feeling of arriving hot and sweating.
Your place of work is the last place where you want this to happen.
The idea of arriving hot, sweating and smelling isn't presenting a professional image that you surely want to project.
You see an electric push bike, can reach speeds of 50mph with minimal effort from you, allowing you to dress more appropriately for work (saving you to change at the other end) with the confidence that you will arrive fresh and sweat free.
2.
Avoid All the Traffic Jams!- You can ride in the cycle lane-simple.
Arrive to work early, forgetting all the stress and worries of sitting in a traffic jam.
3.
Recharge Your Bike Whilst You Work- It's easy to refuel - you just find a mains socket, plug in, wait a bit...
and you're done.
If your commute to work isn't that far then your battery will more than likely last you the day without recharging.
Once you arrive home, simply charge it in your garage, costing you pennies.
4.
Silent Riding- Unlike mopeds and scooters with their noisy engines, the motor on an electric push bike is much quieter, practically silent.
Meaning you're more likely to hear danger before it gets too close.
If you are lucky enough to live out in the countryside, you are more likely to spot wildlife and be able to enjoy the surrounding sounds and landscapes on your journey, in silence.
5.
Treat Yourself With the Money You Will Save- After fighting through the traffic in your car, the next cost is to pay for a parking space, which you have to find first...
Commuting on bikes allows you to chain it up at the nearest bicycle park/station or secure fence, so you may even be able to do so outside your building, saving you walking distance.
For those that live and work in/near the city, and who are seriously considering a car alternative, this could be it.
Just think...
how much would you save if you didn't have to pay for car insurance, road tax, gas? Not forgetting you can still pedal the bike manually, helping you lose weight if you wish to.
In my opinion I think the electric push bike is a fantastic invention and if you are seriously looking for a realistic alternative to a car to commute to work...
then the best commuter bike would have to be in my book an electric push bike.
