Items cannot exceed 9.2 inches in length or 4.7 inches in width or a thickness of .27 inches. A nonrefundable annual fee is applied to every Business Reply Mail address. In 2010, the annual domestic and international fee was C$625. In addition to this fee, senders also must pay the applicable postage for the item being mailed back. In 2010, the rate for domestic returns was C$.74 per card, and the international return rate was C$1.85. - Undeliverable business-reply cards are disposed of by Canada Post. Items are considered undeliverable if address inconsistencies occur--such as an incomplete return address--or if delivery is illegal. Business-reply cards also are deemed undeliverable in the event of contract or payment issues, including cancellation of the contract or non-payment.
