"HawthoRNe" Cast and Character Profiles

Confused about the various characters on the TNT medical drama HawthoRNe? No worries, we've put together this handy reference guide to help viewers get better acquainted with the cast and characters from the series.

Jada Pinkett Smith as Christina Hawthorne

As the Chief Nursing Officer at Richmond Trinity Hospital, Christina Hawthorne is that compassionate, dedicated and capable nurse a patient dreams of having and her tough exterior makes her a force to be reckoned with when it comes to hospital politics. Christina is all work and no play. On a personal level, her life is a mess. Her husband died after a long battle with cancer and she has a rebellious teenage daughter named Camille. As she tries to pick up the pieces of her shattered life, Christina has a bad habit of putting working ahead of her family -- and herself.

Michael Vartan as Dr. Tom Wakefield

Tom is Richmond Trinity Hospital's oncologist and Chief of Surgery. He also treated Christina's late husband, so the two of them share a special bond on both a personal and professional level. Dealing with hospital politics isn't exactly Tom's best quality, so he relies on Christina to act as a buffer between he and the hospital staff when the occasion arises.

David Julian Hirsh as Ray Stein

Being one of the only male nurses at Richmond Trinity Hospital has its disadvantages -- especially since neither the staff nor the patients take him seriously. Most also think that because he's a nurse that he is also gay. Funny thing is that it couldn't be further from the truth as he harbors a big crush on fellow nurse, Candy.

Suleka Mathew as Bobbie Jackson

Every strong-willed, successful woman needs to have a best friend and that is exactly where Bobbie fits into the equation. Bobbie has her own problems though -- she has a prosthetic leg, which feeds into her insecurities, making it difficult for the beautiful nurse to maintain a romantic relationship.

Christina Moore as Candy Sullivan

Every nursing staff has at least one of those beautiful blond bombshells and Candy happens to fit that description. Her reputation for giving "special attention" to injured soldiers doesn't deflect from the fact that Candy is an excellent nurse and vital member of Christina's staff.

Hannah Hodson as Camille Hawthorne

When a teenage girl loses her father, it can be one of the most traumatic experiences of her life. And when that teen was closer to her father than her mother, the results are that much more devastating. Looking to take her anger out on someone, Camille sets her sights on her mother and does whatever she can to ensure that Christina's life is miserable. The funny thing about their relationship is that the two are more alike than either is willing to admit. Will mother and daughter form a close bond before Camille leaves home for good in a couple of years?
