Country Music Single Releases - Week of October 15, 2007
Flynnville Train - "Tequila Sheila"
I'm loving this single! It's one of those songs you can enjoy from start to finish. You never know what will happen when "Tequila Sheila" strikes and you get caught up in the moment with her. Listen
Phil Vassar - "Love Is A Beautiful Thing"
Sometimes all it takes is a wedding to reunite people and have true emotions come out into the forefront. What I like about this single is the fact it isn't sappy.
Sure, the father gets emotional before giving his daughter away, but he's happy for her too. It's a celebration.
Bon Jovi and Leann Rimes - "'Til We Ain't Strangers Anymore"
I'm only able to access a short clip of the song, but from what I can tell Bon Jovi and Leann Rimes' voice sound great together. To me the song sounds like it's more on the rock side, but should still be popular with the country crowd.
The Drew Davis Band - "Back There All The Time"
This is a really good song about a man who sees his former high school flame at a coffee shop and how his mind digs down deep into the past to remember the good times they had together. This group is impressive and I can tell they have the talent to last a while.
Kelly Willis - "The More That I'm Around You"
This is a nice new single from Kelly Willis. I'm not used to Kelly having a seventies rock vibe to her songs, but it's a nice change of pace.
Stephen Cochran - "Everything We Knew"
Stephen Cochran is a newcomer with a lot of promise. It's hard to break into the business, but I'd really like for this song to make its way up the charts.
It's a good one and I really like it. Listen
