How to Setup Concerto With CentOS

  • 1). Click "Applications," navigate through "System Tools," then click "Terminal" to open a terminal in CentOS.

  • 2). Type "su" and press "Enter." Type your administrator password, and press "Enter." Nothing will show on the screen as you type your password.

  • 3). Type "yum -y install wine" into the terminal. Wait until you see "Installation complete!" before closing the terminal.

  • 4). Insert the AutoCAD installation disk. Right-click on "setup.exe" after the disc directory window appears on the screen. Select "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader" from the pull-down menu. Install AutoCAD as you would normally in MS Windows.

  • 5). Insert the MS Project installation disk. Right-click on "setup.exe" after the disc directory window appears on the screen. Select "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader" from the pull-down menu. Install MS Project as you would normally in MS Windows.

  • 6). Log in to Concerto through your web browser. Sync the information between your browser and the two installed programs as normal. Now you have access to the information even when you are not connected to the Internet.
