Since I was a little boy I have always wanted to learn how to play the piano but I just never did.
When I was younger it was because we couldn't afford it and when I got older I just didn't have the time to fit it in.
My brother told me I should consider taking piano lessons online because I could learn at my own pace and go through lessons on my own time.
Once I started the online lessons I knew this was going to work out for me.
The online piano lessons range from just starting out all the way up to expert piano playing so I knew I could grow if I just took the time and practiced.
Plus, if you ever need to go back over some notes or a lesson plan you can just rewind the tutorial instead of asking your teacher to repeat the same thing over and over.
It was much easier for me to relax and really get into playing the piano without having to worry about being seen as a slow learner.
Probably the best thing about piano lessons online is the fact that the majority of them are free.
I didn't pay for a single lesson until I hit the advanced level of piano playing which was awesome.
Of course I wasn't opposed to paying for lessons but if you can get them for free, why not take advantage of them? I also noticed that there are different types of lesson plans too because not everyone learns the same way.
You could watch the videos with the first person view of the keys; play by ear or even with a view of the keys with the instructor's hands.
Whichever way you pick they all seem to work pretty well at getting the point across.
If you are like me, and are just too busy to go to a piano lesson every week, try out piano lessons online as an alternative.
These lessons can be free and very effective towards teaching you how to become a beautiful piano player in no time.
You may be surprised at how quickly you catch on with these lessons too, I know I was.
If my brother wouldn't have told me about these lessons I would not be able to play the Maple Leaf Rag!
