Anytime something goes wrong, the people often look to their government for help.
Indeed, it's always been my theory that the first place to look is in your own mirror, but apparently the lack of individual responsibility and strength of character of the average citizen just isn't what it used to be.
Perhaps it is why socialist left-leaning politicians are so easily able to sway the voter and the populace to actually believing that the government is the answer.
More often than not it is the problem, even if our leaders dismiss the challenges we all face with nothing more than excuses and sprinkle us with "pretend empathy" read from a Teleprompter.
Okay so let's talk shall we? On November 16, 2012 Reuters had an interesting piece titled; "Obama tours New York storm damage, consoles victims," by Mark Felsenthal and Chris Francescani, which noted; "Wearing a wind breaker and sturdy shoes, the president walked through destroyed sections of the borough of Staten Island, hugging and chatting with people whose lives were shattered when Sandy slammed ashore on October 29, bringing a record storm surge and killing more than 120 people.
" That's nice, how quaint, but I'd also submit to you that it is the government's fault for not securing our civilization, but instead Mayor Bloomberg conveniently blames it on a theory - oh, you've probably hear about it "Global Warming Theory" and that the ocean sea level is rising due to ice melt, and future Super Storms will be the norm; not hardly.

Government leaders meet to show the people how to hope for the future, but no one is asking them why they were unable to protect the people that they promised they'd keep safe; why you ask? Because the government can't help or protect the people, generally they can only protect themselves using the people's money - so it's a giant fraud.
Who is the leader of this giant fraud? Where does the buck supposedly stop? With Obama it doesn't, he just blames everyone else, i.

Bush, GOP, rich people, 1%, corporate jets, etc.
Wake up America - this is your new government at work.
Maybe the American people need to take a step back, look in that mirror, and ask themselves more questions.
Do we really need the government as our nanny, or a shoulder to cry on, or do we need them to do their job.
If they can't do their job, which has been the case more often than not, perhaps we should stop looking at them, and start looking at ourselves and take personal responsibility for our actions and decisions.
