What is Iridology? Iridology is composed of the scientific analysis of patterns and structures of the eye's iris (the colored center of the eye), which is able to locate areas and stages of any inflammation which may be within the body (any part of the body).

Where did Iridology come from? Ignatz Von Peczely as a young boy once caught an owl in his garden; however, during the struggle noticed that the owl had a black line rising from its eye after accidentally breaking its leg.
Von Peczely, after nurturing the owl to health, noticed that the raised black line had disappeared, only to be replaced by white lines across the same area.
In later years, Von Peczely became a physician where he studied the eyes of his patients - determining a relevant connection between the iris' markings and certain ailments of the body (a reflex relationship between bodily tissue changes was believed to exist [an iridology chart was produced]).

How does Iridology work? The iris is complex - composed of hundreds of thousands of nerve endings which are connected by impulses to every tissue within the body through the brain and nervous system.
