How to Repair a "No Temp" Gauge Reading in a 2002 Chevy Blazer

    • 1). Check the coolant to ensure that it is full. If it is not, fill it and check the temperature gauge again. If it's still not working, unplug the coolant temperature sensor.

    • 2). Remove the sensor, using the appropriate wrench and turning the sensor counterclockwise.

    • 3). Apply PTFE tape to the threads of a new coolant temperature sensor. Screw the sensor into the head as far as you can by hand. Tighten the sensor firmly with a wrench, but do not overtighten it. Plug in the sensor.
