Create Image

• 1). Open your browser and go to YouTube. Find the video you wish to add to your posting. The YouTube player will appear and display the first frame of the video. Your browser's address also displays a URL that points to the video. Copy that URL using your mouse, and paste it into Notepad. Type "Link URL" next to the URL, This will help you identify it later.
  
  
• 2). Click your Windows "Start" button and type "Snipping Tool." Click the "Snipping Tool" icon when it appears in the Start menu. A tiny Snipping Tool pop-up window opens. This tool allows you to capture screenshots. Your cursor changes into a crosshair.
  
  
• 3). Click the top left corner of the YouTube video player, hold down your left mouse button and drag your mouse so that a rectangle appears around the video player. Release the mouse. The Snipping Tool window displays an image of the video player you captured.
  
  
• 4). Press Ctrl and S to open the "Save As" window. This window shows the folders located on your hard drive. Click the "Desktop" folder to select it, then type a name for the file in the "File Name" window. Click "Save." Windows saves the image to your desktop.
  
  
• 5). Visit a free image-hosting site such as TinyURL.com, ImageShack.com or Imgur.com. These sites allow you to upload an image file and store it there.
  
  
• 6). Review the site's upload instructions and upload the image you saved to your desktop. The site will display the URL of the image after the upload completes. Copy this URL using your mouse and paste it into Notepad. Type "Image URL" next to the URL.
  
  

Add YouTube

• 1). Log in to your Craigslist account and open one of your posts. The contents of your post appear in the "Posting Description" box.
  
  
• 2). Find a location in the post where you would like to add the YouTube video. Paste the following text into that location:

  </a>
  
  Replace "Insert Link URL" with the URL you copied and labeled "Link URL." Replace "Insert Image URL" with the URL you copied and labeled "Image URL."
  
  
• 3). Click "Continue" to view the Preview page. The YouTube video image appears. Click the image. The YouTube video plays.
  
  
• 4). Click "Edit Again" button in the Craigslist Preview window to return to the editing page. Add additional text to the post if desired, and save it when done. Craigslist visitors viewing your page will see the YouTube video on your post.
