However, for what it is worth, many people have experienced this, though the comments and sayings of their parents.
I am also quite aware that most people do the best they can, and are not deliberately attempting to reduce their children's chances of manifesting great wealth.
However, some people have heard through their childhood, sayings like
- Money does not grow on trees,
- We need to work hard for everything we get or have,
- Life was not meant to be easy
- We come from a working class family
- We may not be rich but we are honest,
- It is not normal for kids to do better than their parents and so on and on.
I would like to point out at this point, that everyone is entitled to their opinion but as far as I am concerned, wealth is a right and not reserved for a select few only.
We do however, need to train ourselves to accept it, if we are currently in a belief cycle where wealth is perceived to be bad, or dishonest.
Are there some dishonest wealthy people? Certainly.
However, there are many very honest and decent people with great wealth as well.
It is absolutely OK to be wealthy, prosperous and abundant.
Thinking of it another way, you can be far more helpful to others when you are wealthy yourself.
If you have barely two cents to rub together, you will probably not be in a great position to donate to charity to help others and so on.
However, when you are wealthy, it is a lot easier to help others.
Now I do say the above with a few caveats if I may.
I believe in being generous first, as well as helping others when ever possible, as the universe tends to reward those who help themselves and others.
It's also about often giving first to receive in return, However, the return is often many times over the original gift.
I have found that as long as I give with an open heart, I tend to feel much better, help others, and gain at some point in the future as well.
However, the secret is to give with no expectation, and genuinely because you wish to.
The less attachment, and greater generosity or open heart you attach to your gift, the better.
I have also found that practicing a state of gratitude is very important to helping abundance flow through my life.
The same principles will apply to you, as these are effectively, universal laws.
What do I mean by practicing gratitude? Well, we need to make a specific point of being thankful for everything we have, no matter how seemingly little it may be.
Allow me to give you an example.
I read of a man, whose work I admire who at one stage, only had a pencil, eraser on the end of it, and the clothes on his back.
He was however, also in possession of a great mind, and he knew that with that pencil, and erase, he could wrote an award winning novel, a letter of love, or create a product that could be sold, and so on.
He equally could write a suicide note.
A serious point here is being made, and IO hope you take it on board.
We always have choices, no matter ho bad things may seem, and I am hoping to encourage you to take the long term view, and use all you have to your advantage.
Be thankful for all you have, no matter if you think it is little.
I have found that gratitude helps to bring more to your life, in terms of other assets, as well as a state of mind that is conducive to better ideas, and happiness.
It all takes work, but it pays off handsomely.
You are a special person, as we all are, and capable of much.
Do not allow innocent comments and phrases to shape your life.
You are entitled to all the universe has to offer.
You can be very wealthy and happy, as well as decent at the same time.
Notice I have used the word 'and' and not the word 'or'.
