- Paint the walls pink or blue with small bees and flowers in random spots throughout. A sky blue wall with white fluffy clouds and bees can also look nice in a bee-inspired bathroom. If you don't want to paint, dress up the room with bee, honey jar and hive wall stickers.
- Look for bathroom accessories such as soap dishes and toothbrush holders shaped like a hive or honeybees. The bathroom section at department stores might include plenty of hive and bee decor along with Winnie the Pooh accessories. Decide if you want to create a bee theme only or incorporate Winnie the Pooh into your theme since Pooh Bear loves digging into hives filled with honey, even if bees swarm nearby. Other accessories include bee, hive or flower rugs, hang towels, shower curtains and full-size towels. Flower decor often goes well with a bee theme because bees buzz to flowers.
- Include a few handmade bee items in your bathroom, such as a step stool or painted wooden bees. Buy wooden bees at the craft store and paint them black and yellow. Use foam wall adhesives to attach the bees to the walls. Paint the wooden step stool yellow with little honey bees on top. Small children often use step stools to stand on while they brush their teeth, but not all bathrooms need this item.
- Hang up framed paintings of bees sitting on a daisy, rose or vibrant purple flower. Photographs work well also, but kids might want to see pictures of cartoon bees or images of Winnie the Pooh digging into a bee hive with bees buzzing around him. Paint the wooden frames solid yellow and black or with black and yellow stripes.
