"One Life to Live" Recap for Wednesday, September 14, 2011

At Gigi's grave, Rex updates Gigi about Shane's first day of school, that it was easier without Jack there. He thought it would help if Jack and Victor suffered, but it hasn't. Seeing her in her grave, now he knows she's gone. Gigi appears, then disappears. Rex follows and asks why she's appearing. Is there something he needs to know? Gigi says, "Don't give up." Rex tells Gigi how he followed the clues to the Spotted Pony and all he found was Kim using 'Gigi' as her stripper name, just like Stacy did in Vegas.

Clint tells Kim that he's arranged to transfer her friend to Llanview Hospital -- where she'll get the best of care. Kim is touched. When Kim says she can't bring her to Llanview, Clint says that all expenses will be paid. He doesn't have money, but he still has a lot of influence in Llanview. Kim insists that the doctors have said she is in too bad a condition to travel. Clint tries to convince her. Kim thanks Clint but refuses his offer, then leaves. Clint begins to search for hospitals in Kentucky, then remembers the name Spotted Pony and is able to narrow the search to Anchorage, Kentucky. Clint calls the hospital and asks for information about the young woman Kimberly Andrews has been visiting and arranging care for.

At the Buenos Dias cafe, Roxy tells Nate that the fliers about Morris the stuffed porcupine haven't helped. Nate suggests she try another way. So Roxy calls Delphina. While she's waiting, she asks Nate why he isn't with Dani. Nate says he's the last person Dani wants to see.

When Delphina arrives, she tells Nate to go home. James will need him. Nate leaves. Focusing on Morris. Delphina gets '9' and 'm and m', then '9 mm' and tells Roxy to tell her the truth. Roxy confides that the gun in Morris might have been used to kill Victor. Echo thinks Rex used it. Rex enters the cafe, sees Roxy, and tells her that Cutter has Morris. Roxy leaves. Then Rex asks Delphina if she has anything for him. Delphina tells him that "Don't give up" means "Don't give up." Rex looks perplexed. Delphina tells him to ask his father. Clint has the answers he needs.

Cutter and Aubrey discuss Victor's murder. Cutter reminds Aubrey that Rex had a motive, as he blamed Victor for keeping Jack out of jail for causing Gigi's death. Cutter agrees with Aubrey that Rex has suffered enough. If Rex is in trouble with the police, it isn't their fault but Roxy and Echo were both freaked. When Aubrey asks what Kim wants, Cutter mentions that she needs money for her friend in the hospital. She's a loyal friend who knows how to keep secrets. Aubrey teases that Cutter's secret is that he was a total geek but Cutter insists he has the same nose. Their kids will be lookers. When Aubrey is geting ready for her job interview at Capricorn, Cutter mentions that the owner is related to Kelly. Then he gives her money for clothes for the interview, saying it's from the stuff he sold at the flea market. After Aubrey leaves, Cutter admits to Morris the porcupine that he can't tell Aubrey the truth. Kim visits Cutter and tells him she just turned down the sweetest, kindest, most generous offer anyone ever made to her; she tells him about Clint's arrangement for her friend. Cutter reminds her that they can't bring her here. Kim wonders where she's going to get the money and Cutter looks at Morris. A few minutes later, Roxy bangs on Cutter's door.

Starr tells James that she was hoping he'd show up early. It's hard to say goodbye to the man she thought was her father for 8 years. But it's even harder knowing that her real father is the main suspect. And Jack is taking it the hardest because he's sure that Todd did it, even though she knows he didn't. There are other possibilities. But if it was Tomas, that would be just as devastating. She tells James that Baz found a producer for their music, but it's the sleaze Rick. She won't work with him, although she researched him and he does have the credentials. When Starr says that Rick is the only producer interested in their music, James responds that Rick is just the first one. Starr has to convince Baz that sometimes you have to wait for the right one to come along. James and Starr smile at each other.

Tomas tells Blair that Baz believes Tomas killed Victor. Blair asks him for the truth -- did he? Tomas replies that he felt sorry for Victor because he was brainwashed, but he was dangerous. The night Victor was murdered, Tomas was with Colmar, asking him to get Victor to leave Tea, in a way that couldn't be traced back to him. Blair says she should have realized Tomas didn't want Victor dead when he saved his life before. She asks if Baz believes him. Tomas admits that Baz is noncommittal. Blair apoligizes to Tomas. She admits she did everything except call to get him arrested. Now she can't find any more reasons to stay away. They hug.

Baz offers to burn a disc for Dani for Victor's service. While Baz takes a call from Rick and says that he can speak for Starr, Dani talks to Blair. Blair assures her Victor never thought about the night that Blair stopped Dani from shooting him; that he only thought about how much she loved him. Baz leaves to meet Rick, Dani walks him to the door, and sees. . . Nate waiting outside. Nate says he just wanted her to know how sorry he is. It hurts to lose your dad even if you didn't care for him. And he knows how much she loved Victor. He says she shouldn't have to go through everything alone. They hug.
