While Donald Trump owned Monday Night RAW for only one week, he made one big decision that has changed the direction of the show. Instead of there being a permanent General Manager for the show, Donald Trump announced that every week the show would feature a special guest host that would have full power over the program for the week. That guest would be either a wrestler or a celebrity from outside of the world of wrestling.

The stipulation involving them having any power during the show was removed in May of 2010 when Bret Hart was named the General Manager of RAW. Starting with Hugh Jackman's appearance in 2011, the stars started to be referred to as Guest Stars.
