Individuals encounter health challenges through a diverse lifetime.
In other words, health challenges exist from birth through individual life's stages.
In addition individuals encounter denials from insurance companies, workplace settings, and through various assortments of health calamities.
However, while individuals encounter health challenges, what respective challenges brought forth are an assortment of workplace calamities, which contribute towards a nations' health crisis.
In essence individuals should not be rewarded with workplace health calamities such that individuals can use respective company benefits.
Furthermore, while researched solutions are available, companies continue ignoring researched solutions.
In essence hazards of smoking, cancer chemicals, graveyard conditions, dysfunctional organizations, and others contribute to an existing health care crisis.
Hence, the focus of respective writings is towards creating awareness while developing solutions towards such awareness.
Thus, while recognizing mentioned health issues presents a problem, acceptance of respective heath issues is a step towards health reform.
Current discussions of health reform bring many unanswered questions while unnecessary anxiety or stresses may be lurking in the background.
In addition when medical coverage can be a challenge, changes to an existing policy with government intervention create confusion among a worrisome population.
As stated by U.
S.
Department of Health and Human Services (2009), "Many Americans are struggling to make ends meet as the cost of care goes up while others face losing insurance as businesses struggle to cover employees.
" In essence an enormous health-care undertaking that requires extreme flexibility during existing economic times.
In other words, policies of governmental change necessitate cooperation while false messages create downpours.
As stated by Cohen (2009), "A woman asked Rep.
Allen Boyd at a town hall meeting the other day if health care reform proposals would force people to let the government access their bank accounts.
" Thus, rumor travesties are colliding towards changing events.
However, while health reform is attempting towards improving existing conditions, health reform in workplace settings is structured towards a short lived spectrum.
As stated by the International Labor Organization (2009), "Still, every day, on average, some 5,000 or more women and men around the world lose their lives because of work-related accidents and illness.
Decent Work must be safe work, and we are a long way from achieving that goal.
" In essence work-place settings or environments contribute towards health and safety problems.
In addition, workplace first, second, and third-hand smoke, unnecessary cancer chemicals, graveyard calamities, and dysfunctional work-place environments contribute towards multiple healths related tribulations while respective litigants and managers deny individual protective health rights.
Therefore, health reform can begin with employer reform through policy and behavioral modifications and continued health-reform awareness.
For instance, smoking in the workplace, whether being first-hand, second-hand, or third hand can contribute to an unhealthy workplace setting.
Thus, by encouraging employees towards discontinued smoking through seminars, hiring non-smokers, or providing stop-smoking patches can contribute towards a healthier society.
In addition by advocating a smoke-free workplace, unanticipated peer pressure can create or develop towards a smoke-free workplace.
Furthermore, since smoking is a direct contributor towards cancer, does not the act of creating non-smokers or encouraging prevention of lung cancers become a viable target towards health reform?
