1. Iggy Azalea - "Black Widow" featuring Rita Ora


Iggy Azalea is proving that she is not a one hit wonder with "Black Widow." Co-written and co-produced by Stargate, the song was originally recorded, but never released, by Katy Perry. "Black Widow" is already a top 5 hit on both the R&B songs and rap songs charts. It is a top 40 pop hit in both Australia and Canada.

2. Clean Bandit - "Rather Be" featuring Jess Glynne


"Rather Be" spent four weeks at the top of the pop singles chart in the UK in early 2014, and it has now sold more than a million copies there. The song incorporates classical music instrumentation with contemporary electronic dance music. "Rather Be" has gone to #1 on pop singles charts aroundt he world. Here in the US it is a top 5 dance songs hit.

3. Jeremih - "Don't Tell 'Em" featuring YG


R&B singer-songwriter is looking for his third big pop smash with "Don't Tell 'Em." His singles "Birthday Sex" and "Down On Me" both peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Producer Mick Schulz worked on both "Birthday Sex" and "Don't Tell 'Em" as well as Zendaya's breakthrough pop hit "Replay."

4. Ariana Grande - "Break Free" featuring Zedd


Ariana Grande released the music video for "Break Free" this week. The clip was directed by Chris Marrs Piliero who is known for the humor in his music videos. He directed "I Wanna Go" for Britney Spears. "Break Free" has reached #1 on the dance songs chart.

5. Charli XCX - "Boom Clap"


Charli XCX was born Charlotte Aitchison. She hit the top of the singles chart here in the US earlier this year as featured vocalist on Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." "Boom Clap" is included on the soundtrack for the hit film A Fault In Our Stars. The song has reached #6 on the UK pop singles chart.
