How to Make a Two-Sided Draft Stopper for Doors

    • 1). Measure the thickness and width of your door. The thickness and width of a standard door is 1 3/4 by 36 inches. Add 7 1/2 inches to the width.     • 4). Spin the fabric 180 degrees. Fold the bottom edge 2 1/4 inches over the body of the fabric. Stitch the folded edge into the body of the fabric using a cross-stitch pattern to create a 1-inch-wide loop.

    • 5). Insert one 1-by-36-inch high-density urethane foam rod into each fabric loop. Open the door. Slide the stopper under the bottom edge of the door so one of the foam rods is on each side of the door. Close the door.
