- 1). Open Adobe Photoshop and click “New” to create a new drawing. Type the “Height” and “Width” into the respective input boxes and click “OK.” Click the radio button next to “Transparency” to select a transparent background.
- 2). Click the “Line” tool from the Toolbox.
- 3). Click inside the canvas, then drag the cursor to another location on the canvas. The line is drawn from the first cursor point to the second point.
- 4). Click the black “Arrow” icon and the “Select” tool from the Toolbox, then click on the line.
- 5). Drag the line anywhere on the canvas with the mouse, or use the “Up” or “Down” arrows or the “Right” or “Left” arrows on the keyboard to place the line on the canvas.
- 6). Click the “Edit” option from the top navigation bar, then click “Rotate” to rotate the line. Click the desired Rotate option. For example, click “90 degrees Clockwise” to flip the orientation of the line.
