I Pray for My Husband’S Long Life on TEEJ

"I pray for my husband's long life on TEEJ," says Bhabho

Star Plus' top rated show - Diya Aur Baati Hum has various reasons to celebrate. The show that just completed two glorious years never seems to have never run out of reasons in adding some celebrations on set. Bhabho aka Neelu Waghelahas brought more fervor to the festival of Teej. Neelu who has been busy shooting for the show hasn't been able to go back to her hometown (Pushkar) due to her packed schedule. But nothing seems to deter this strong woman from celebrating the festival with great gusto with her family in Mumbai, even though she still misses the traditional customs and excitement back home.
This time the actress is very excited, as there will also be a special sequence of Teej on the show and looks forward to celebrating it with her Diya Aur Baat Hum family.
€Neeluji will observe a strict 24 hour fast (without consumption of water) as per tradition which is done for the well-being of her husband and will also be applying mehendi on her hands,€ says a source from the set.
When asked, Bhabho excitedly said,€ Teej is a very important festival for married women and I am happy to observe the fast as I wish well for my husband's long life. I must add that I am enjoying following the ceremonies that come with teej - dressing up in traditional finery, doing a special pooja and then breaking your fast once you see the moon.€
We are sure that Bhabho has influenced all the married women on the show to pray for the longevity of their husbands.
