Individuals need to be able to create more positive events in their lives.

Also, think of how the strengths that you possess, that caused this good thing to happen, can also cause other positive events in your life.
For example, what other good things can come from your hard work, dedication, and ability to appropriately prepare for games? Through your daily meditation practices let yourself imagine what future positive events will be waiting for you to enjoy.
Because you hold the key to your success, positive attitude, hard work and dedication, you can expect to be successful in all other domains of your life (work, family etc).
As a result of you having a positive attitude and knowing what it takes to be successful, a happy productive life will be the result.
Believing in themselves and their abilities, optimists expect good things to happen and have happier and more productive lives.

So the first step you can take if you want to stop being sick and bring more positive events into your life, is to start thinking positive!
