Having suffered from acne for many years I tried a lot of different treatments.

You also need to avoid the main food that causes hormones to become imbalanced - vegetable oil...
Vegetable oil is usually consumed by using cooking oils like sunflower oil.
It's also found in some junk foods.
But you really need to check the foods you eat on a regular basis to make sure you don't eat much vegetable oil, because you will breakout otherwise.
In fact, vegetable oil results in the worst kind of breakouts possible - cystic acne.
When I stopped eating it, my skin cleared up dramatically.
