- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." In the opened window, click "Network and Sharing Center." This is a window that lists all your configuration options and the network cards installed on your computer.
- 2). Click the "Manage network connections" on the left side of the window. Hold the "Alt" button down. With the keyboard button pressed, press "N" at the same time. This opens an advanced menu.
- 3). Click "Advanced Settings" and then click the "Adapters and Bindings" tab. Click the network card you want to set as the priority.
- 4). Click the "Up" arrow button on the right of the window. This moves the selected network card up in the list of priority. Click "OK" to save your settings.
