How to Change a Pennsylvania Identification Card Address

    • 1). Fill out form MV-63. You can download this form at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Driver & Vehicle Services website. The form requires your identifcation number, name and new address. You can also change the address on your vehicle registration if you have a registered vehicle by entering the appropriate information on the form.

    • 2). Mail the form to:

      Bureau of Motor Vehicles
      PO Box 68287
      Harrisburg, PA 17106-8287

      There is no charge to change your address on your identification card.

    • 3). Alternatively, complete the change of address form online at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Driver & Vehicle Services website.

    • 4). Select "Online Driver & Vehicle Services" from the menu. Then pick "Change Address on Your Photo ID Card."

    • 5). Enter your ID number, your date of birth and the last four numbers of your social security number; then press "Submit." You will then be asked to enter and confirm your new address information, and then you will be asked to print out a copy of the submitted changes. There is no charge for this service.
