Interview With Kahlen of America"s Next Top Model
Kahlen Talks About America's Next Top Model:
Kahlen, a restaurant hostess from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, was the final girl eliminated from America's Next Top Model 4. Here's what she had to say after the show.
On almost winning the competition:
"It was hard to be runnerup and then watching it slip away. It was such a close competition. But I felt that Naima really deserved it because she is so passionate, she is so driven, she gives 110% all the time.
She's one of my greatest friends and she is an inspiration to me as well."
On being on the runway for her final challenge:
"When I did the Cover Cirl shoot, I was tired and I missed my family -- but I wasn't ready to give up because I had made it that far. But as soon as Naima and I set foot on that runway, I realized why I wanted to be a supermodel. I was the center of the attention, it was a real life fashion show, and there was the adrenaline and that rush. That's why I wanted to do it in the first place."
On the best part of the Top Model experience:
"...Learning so much from (Tyra and the other judges) over three months. NowI feel like I am ready to go out there."
On what she will do now:
"I'm actually moving to New York next week. I'll be looking for representation."
On whether or not she would do another reality show:
"If I could rewind and do this reality show again, I would because I've learned so much from it. But in the future if you ask me if I want to do another reality show, I'd say I think not!"
