Another big win in the early part of Adam Scott's career was the Tour Championship on the PGA Tour in 2006. This victory capped off a good stretch of golf for Scott. In 2005, he entered the Top 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time. He had an unofficial PGA Tour win at the 2005 Nissan Open (unofficial because the tournament was shortened to 36 holes by rain), won the Johnnie Walker Classic in 2005 on the European Tour, and won the Asian Tour's Singapore Open in both 2005 and 2006.
