Have you ever stood in the skin care aisle of CVS or Walmart and wondered what treatment for pimples you should buy? I have and it is a frustrating experience.
There are so many options out there, and if you've tried a few (or even several of them) you know that some work better than others.
So how do you find a system that actually works to cure the acne that you've struggled with? Understand where acne starts.
Acne appears on the surface of your skin, but starts UNDER your skin.
An effective treatment will treat both the surface acne as well as the acne as it is forming under the skin.
Know what works.
When it comes to topical acne solutions there are two main ingredients that work.
The first is benzoyl peroxide.
This ingredient will blast acne away, but it will also leave your skin feeling dry and patchy (and it smells funny).
The second ingredient is salicylic acid.
This is a super effective ingredient for healing acne, and it doesn't tear apart your skin like benzoyl peroxide.
When combined with glycolic acid and a pill that treats acne internally, your acne doesn't have a chance.
Go for clinically proven results.
When a scientific clinical study shows that an acne treatment works, then it works.
Look on the label, if a treatment for pimples has positive evidence from a clinical study they will say so.
This is a good indication that the system you are considering works and will be worthwhile purchasing.
