How to Remove a Fan Blade for a 1997 F150

    • 1). Open the hood, make sure the engine isn't running and slide the fan clutch wrench over the nut on the fan clutch.

    • 2). Hold the fan clutch wrench steady and remove the four bolts from the fan clutch that hold the fan blade to the clutch assembly. Set the nuts somewhere easily accessible.

    • 3). Lift the fan blade up and out of the engine well by hand.
