- 1). Replace the batteries of the iLo mp3 player. If the media device fails to operate, replace with three new AAA batteries. The battery compartment is on the rear of the device.
- 2). Turn off the mp3 player if it freezes. Wait a full minute and then press the power button again to restore the device.
- 3). Try a different USB cable if the PC does not recognize your iLo mp3 player. A faulty USB connection can also cause problems with transferring songs from your PC to the iLO player.
- 4). Reinstall the firmware for your device using the software disc that came with your product. Faulty firmware can cause problems syncing the mp3 player since it may not be formatted correctly to receive the files.
- 5). Check the memory card that you are using with your iLo mp3 player. Remove the memory card and save your songs to the hard drive of the device. If this works, but you are unable to save them to the SD card, you may have a faulty card or the card needs to be formatted.
- 6). Delete songs from the mp3 player that you no longer need. If your memory is full, go through and delete selections in order to make room for new songs.
