As Anthony talks about being a con man, Sawyer begins to suspect that he might be the man who conned Sawyer's parents, which resulted in Sawyer's father killing his mother and then himself. He makes Anthony read the letter he'd written to Mr. Sawyer when he was a kid and Anthony rips up the letter.

Sawyer chokes him to death, then Locke comes in and thanks him.
