There are a variety of factors which can create tinnitus in the left ear.

Stress is a cause of ringing in the ears.
The stress experienced can be short or long term.
Chemical imbalances are more likely when a person is stressed.
These imbalances can cause a person's ears to ring.

Sedentary or Inactive Lifestyle-People that are constantly inactive may find that their bodies will manifest issues which will cause ringing of the ears.

Poor Diet-If a person is constantly complaining of noise in their ears a poor diet could be the cause.
Diets that are high in unhealthy, fattening foods can have an effect on the body.
Likewise, the overconsumption of alcohol also plays a factor in tinnitus.
People are advised to adopt healthier eating habits.

Overexposure to loud noises-Overexposure to loud music in any form can cause ringing in the ears.
Listening to music via headphones or ear buds too loud can cause ringing.
Likewise, loud concerts can also cause the ears to ring.

Previous Ear Surgery-Individuals that have received a surgery related to their ears in their youth may find that they are now experiencing uncomfortable symptoms.
Some of these symptoms can include headaches and ringing of the ears.
The sooner the problem is diagnosed the sooner treatment can be initiated.
