How to Measure Wireless Signal Strength

    • 1). Move your cursor to the "Network" icon in the "Notification" area of your computer's desktop. This is usually found on the bottom right of your screen.

    • 2). Click the "Network" icon.

    • 3). View the network that has "Connected" listed next to it. This is the network you are currently using. A network that has five green bars has an excellent connection, while a network with one green bar has a weak connection. Proceed to examine other networks in the list to determine their signal strengths.
