I wrote an article for younger guys on how to attract a cougar - and it's interesting, because the same tips I gave there apply here.
It's the same way of thinking, except that you apply the advice differently in each scenario.
It's a question of sitting down, and figuring out how you stack up against your competition.
What makes you stand out versus the young guys that you're up against? Let's take a look: 1) Your age Pretty obvious, I know.
But as the old sales adage goes 'if you can't fix it, feature it', you can either use this to your advantage or against.
Most older guys see this as being a problem and say to a younger girl 'oh you would never be interested in an old guy like me', in the hope that they will come back and say 'oh yes I would!' Whilst this may happen on rare occasions, it tends not to work like that.
You'd be much better off disqualifying her 'You're far too young for me there princess - a man of my age has picked up a few tricks in his time, and I'm worried that you'd never be able to keep up...
' There's a decent chance that this will lead her to respond with 'oh I can keep up just fine, thank you'..
..
..
..
then it's on.
You are officially flirting with her.
2) Your experience Ties in closely with number 1).
This is not necessarily sexual experience (although that helps), but more general life experience.
Many younger girls actually want older guys because they view guys their age as being dumb and immature.
They want a guy that they can actually learn something from, that they can respect and look up to.
I've lost count of the number of online dating profiles I've seen where hot 22 year old girls have limited the guys who can email them to age 40 and above.
There's a good reason for that - use it to your advantage.
There are other girls who have daddy fantasies and all kinds of other stuff going on - whether you want to get involved with that of course, is your call.
3) Your career/money Whilst I never recommend trying to impress a girl with money, having money and status is still a good thing (providing you use it in the right way).
And the fact that you can afford to take her out and treat her will only compare you favourably to your 21 year old competitor who struggles to shout her a cheeseburger at Wendy's.
However, this is of secondary importance in comparison to the first 2 points on this list.
Of course, there will be many younger girls who have no interest in you.
That's just how it is, I'm afraid - so you need to get good at recognising quickly the girls who have a possible interest in the older guy, and the ones who have no interest in ANY older guy, no matter how sexy he is.
The only way you do this, is through experience - so get out there and meet some girls!
