Charity can be defined as the act of giving voluntary help, monetary or otherwise, to those in need. A charity can be an institution, organization, a single person or a group of people Certain types of charity are set up to assist or care for those who are particularly vulnerable, perhaps because of their age, physical or mental ability or ill health.
 The institutions or organizations doing charity work are generally non-profit organizations that solicit and accept donations or gifts from individuals and corporate donors. A registered charity is a charity that is approved by the government to do charity work. Donors receive generous tax rebates in recognition of their service to humanity.
They say the greatest happiness in the world is making others happy. And when these "others" are people who have lost their reason to smile, won't it be beautiful to give them back a reason to smile.
There are numerous charities dedicated to making the lives of the needy in the community better through different projects.
