- 1). Navigate to one of the two links provided in "Resources." The DirecTV link only asks for your information and will contact you if an available job comes up. The Dish Network site displays all of the available satellite TV installer jobs available throughout the country.
- 2). Fill out your information for the DirecTV site (such as name, email address, phone number and mailing address). For the Dish Network site, click on a location near you and click on "Apply Now!" From here, you need to create an "iRecruitment" login and password. Once this process has been completed, you can type in your job experience and education. Click "Submit" and the application is sent to Dish Network.
- 3). Wait for a phone call from one of the companies. A call from Dish Network will most likely come sooner because you would have applied for a position that is currently available. With DirecTV, there's no certainty that a job is available in your area. When you are contacted, you will be asked to go in for an interview.
- 4). Go to your interview. Some interview questions may include: "Why have you applied for the job?"; "What do you like about the company?"; and "What do you see yourself doing in the company a few years down the line?"
- 5). Wait for a call from the company to tell if you have received the job or not. This call may take several days.
- 6). If hired, you will undergo a training period, and when ready you will head out and begin installing satellite services to customers in your servicing area.
