Take in the ancient sights at the university city of Oxford and journey on to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit the birthplace of its most famous resident - William Shakespeare.
The Cotswolds is a popular spot if you'd like to enjoy some quintessential English charm in pleasant scenery and why not finish the day off with a tasty cream tea? Meanwhile, if you'd prefer to take in some historic locations in the world of academia, combine your visit to Oxford with a stop at Eton, where princes William and Harry were educated.
Afterward, why not continue on to the royal borough of Windsor? You can visit the palace here - the queen's official residence - and explore the state rooms and St George's chapel, as well as take a look at Queen Mary's Dolls House.
Head on to Oxford for a walking tour of the city and don't forget to call in at Christ Church College to view the dining room where scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed.
