- Canon sells 10 sheets of 13-by-19-inch Photo Paper Pro in a package. This grade of paper has a basis weight of 80 lb. Canon sells a package of 20 sheets of the 13-by-19-inch Photo Paper Plus Glossy. Paper Plus Glossy is a lighter stock paper, at 69 lb.
- Each sheet of 13-by-19-inch Paper Plus paper is 10.6 mil thick. Since a mil equals a thousandth of an inch, each Paper Plus sheet can be described as 0.0106 inches thick. The 13-by-19-inch Canon Photo Paper Pro sheet of paper is thicker -- at 11.8 mil, or 0.0118 inches. Also, Paper Pro is a brighter paper brand than the Paper Plus Glossy.
- The 13-by-19-inch version of Canon Photo Paper Pro and Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy can be used with the manufacturer's printers that can handle such a size. These include the iX6520 and the Pro9000 and Pro9500 series of Canon's PIXMA's brand of office-oriented, all-in-one inkjet printers. The two paper brands are also compatible with the i9100 and i9900 photo printers. Additionally, Photo Paper Plus works with the Canon PIXMA iX7000.
- The 13-by-19-inch Canon Photo Paper Pro has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $35 as of the time of publication, while the MSRP of the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy is $37. However, at around $1.85 per sheet, the Paper Plus brand is cheaper than Paper Pro, which goes for around $3.50 per sheet. Each brand can be purchased directly from Canon.
