Williamsburg Dentist Celebrates 20th Year Serving Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, VA-Dr. Sebastiana Springmann, family and cosmetic dentist in Williamsburg, is celebrating her 20th consecutive year of serving the Williamsburg area. Since 1992, she has helped countless patients with all of their dental needs.

"I am pleased and proud to say I have been able to practice dentistry in the Williamsburg area for the past 20 years. Over the years I have met many people and dealt with many dental issues and for this I am very grateful. I look forward to continuing to practice here in the coming years," said Dr. Springmann, dentist in Williamsburg.

Dr. Springmann, a native of Brooklyn, New York, attended New York University, worked as a biomedical sculptor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and then relocated to Virginia to continue her studies at The College of William and Mary followed by The Medical College of Virginia, where the Williamsburg dentist was awarded her DDS degree.

Dr. Springmann, Williamsburg family dentist, and cosmetic dentist, is a member of various dental associations including: the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine the American Association of Women Dentists and the Crown Council. Governor McDonnell also appointed her to the Radiation Advisory Board for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

In addition to work at her practice, Dr. Springmann has also worked as a public health dentist for schoolchildren in New Kent County and served as the Chief of Dental Service at Williamsburg Community Hospital.

Dr. Springmann, Williamsburg, VA dentist, has been very active in the Williamsburg community in addition to her dental practice. Along with her husband, she supports the local art community, including the Williamsburg Symphonia and This Century Art Gallery, raises funds for children's charities such as the Smiles for Life Campaign, notably Child Development Resources, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williamsburg, Colonial CASA and Dream Catchers. She has restored smiles for less fortunate patients through Donated Dental Services and Smiles for Success and serves on the Colonial Italian American Organization (CIAO) Scholarship Committee and the United Way Campaign Cabinet. She has organized Halloween Candy collection drives for our troops abroad and collection drives for the Heritage Humane Society FISH a local food pantry.
