Bead Bumpers

Seems like the folks at Beadalon are always coming up with something unusual and interesting for us jewelry designers. And, they are good with coming up with funky names too. This time it's a product called Bead Bumpers, and as the name suggest, it is a jewelry component used to space out (aka bump) your beads.

The bumper package pictured is their 1.7mm black cube bumpers, but they are also available in other sizes, colors, and shapes.

They are made of silicon, so it is a kind of stretchy materials, made to work with beading wire, memory wire, and other types of stringing material. Finishes include white, clear, satin silver, and satin gold.

For the designer who isn't interested in knotting or just wants to try something different, these are an alternative to consider. Check with your local bead store or refer to Beadalon's "Where to Buy" page for retailer who carry this product.
