1. Carrot

As children, we always told to eat carrot to have a clearer eyesight. That was so true. Carrot is rich in Vitamin A and Beta-Carotene.  Beta carotene is a substance that is converted to Vitamin A in the human body. This vitamin helps transfer fat to energy.

Vitamin A is not just an eye's food. It helps maintain the surface linings of the eyes and the respiratory, urinary, and intestinal tracts. When those linings break down, bacteria can enter the body and cause infection.
